Building an innovative pipeline for Spoon Cereals

Recognising Phil’s extensive experience in the cereals category, the team at Spoon Cereals approached Phil to facilitate the development of an effective new product pipeline. Working with co-founders, Jonny, Annie and the wider team – Phil prepared and delivered workshop material which explored the potential opportunities for the Spoon brand in the context of the current environment, building from category and consumer insight and fusing these together with the overall brand and business ambitions. The output helped provide clarity to this fast moving, dynamic cereal brand helping plot a path for even faster growth.

Phil ran a one-day workshop on new product development ideas for us. The workshop was well-structured and thought through, in order to coax the best from the team as well as allowing time to learn from Phil’s many years of FMCG experience. Overall, we were thrilled with the results from the day and it helped bring clarity and more disciplined thinking to our approach to NPD. We would not hesitate to engage Phil again and we have been in touch about other projects already.
