Thermapen are a British engineering success story. Supplying high quality food thermometers to the catering industry and increasingly direct to consumers they wanted to accelerate their path to growth via a strategic review.
Working with Stu Young’s and his team from Studio Texture, Phil led a full and thorough analysis of the marketplace undertaking a review of existing and new potential markets.
As a result of this analysis, it became clear that new un-tapped consumer segments existed as well as the opportunity to drive premium sales opportunities. The resulting work has seen Thermapen launch a new weaning targeted food thermometer for young parents, a new premium food thermometer for full on foodies as well as re-positioning the core offering to a broader audience.
Building on the strategy from Phil enabled Stu and the team to bring to market highly impactful and persuasive supporting brand communications.
